Radhakrishnan Pillai, fondly known as CHANAKYA Pillai, He is a teacher to his students, an author to his readers, a management trainer, consultant and guide to his clients. Radhakrishnan Pillai studied the ancient text the Arthashastra at Chinmaya International Foundation, Kerala, under the guidance of Dr. Gangadharan Nair. Educated in the field of management and consultancy, he later proceeded to do his MA in Sanskrit and a doctorate degree in the Arthashastra. He also started a company Atma Darshan in the field of spiritual tourism.
Radhakrishnan Pillai spreads the knowledge of Chanakya to millions of people across the globe through his lectures, workshops, training programs, radio shows and articles. Director of SPM Foundation and part of the University of Mumbai team, he designs various leadership programs. He is the recipient of the Sardar Patel International Award, 2009.
His first book ‘The corporate Chanakya‘ has created record for the highest number of pre-release sales for any first book of an author.
Currently Radhakrishnan Pillai is pursuing an MA in Sanskrit – the language in which the fundamentals of management science were coined ages ago, and also working towards a PhD in the subject.
With over 15 years of combined business experience in fields of spiritual tourism, publishing, jewellery, sports & music industry among others, he is effectively practicing the art management to solve all corporate crises- thus combining ancient wisdom with contemporary attitudes and situations.
Radhakrishnan Pillai believes that “management” is a universal art that can be put to use in almost all fields and thus had explored the same through management courses in fields ranging from ‘Industrial development’, ‘Tourism’ and ‘Youth in National development’ and have finally got his management consultant certificate from the international Institute of management Consultants, to spread the essence of ‘management’.
With an objective to spread this ancient wisdom through contemporary means and to benefit the masses, he had come on board as the Director of SPM Foundation a research based organization that is works towards promoting Indian concepts in management, business and various sciences of India as applicable in modern day corporate scenarios.
Through the foundation, he visits many Business schools in India and abroad as a Visiting faculty and conduct lectures, workshops & training sessions for them.
Internationally, he had the chance to represent India in various national and international conferences. He is also a member of the committee of the Mumbai University for framing up the syllabus of various management courses that it offers.
His constant endeavor to spread ‘CHANAKYA’s’ ancient wisdom took him through loads of challenges that he had managed to turn into opportunities. These include being a business strategy consultant to over 200 organizations and training over 10,000 executives.
