Yasmin Karachiwala, a fitness expert with more than two decades of experience in the fitness industry and pioneer of ‘Pilates’ physical fitness system in India. She was born in India on July 04, 1970.
She completed her graduation from one of the most reputable colleges in Mumbai, St Xavier’s, Yasmin furthered her edification in the field of fitness and netted all the required qualification and skills to become the most sought-after trainer in the industry.
An ACE certified group and personal trainer; she also holds a BASI Pilates certification to instruct in MAT, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Step barrel. She is a Balance Body certified master trainer in Core-Align, BB Barre and Motr.
Apart from this Yasmin Karachiwala also holds certificates for training in functional training, TRX, Rip trainer, kettle bells, core suspend, core barre and core reform. In the years to come Yasmin envisions making Pilates affordable and being present in every city of the country.
Yasmin Karachiwala has earned the reputation of being a celebrity fitness trainer with her clientele enlisting the crème de la crème of Bollywood like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ileana D’Cruz, Malaika Arora Khan, Preity Zinta, Zareen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Waluscha d’souza to name a few.
She also introduced the concept in the country and has managed to take the concept from no-awareness at all to developing train-the-trainer programs. She has also been felicitated with the ‘Best Fitness Instructor’ award at Vogue Fashion Awards 2013.
